Job Title: Seasonal Tax Professional – Alternative Investments

Reports To: Supervisor(s), Manager(s), Partner(s)

Summary: The Seasonal Tax Professional is responsible for the preparation and some review assistance of the Firm’s tax accounting and compliance. The Seasonal Tax Professional will work closely with client and staff on all phases of project and engagement management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare individual, corporate and partnership tax returns of varying complexities
  • Prepare quarterly and year-end estimates to assist clients with tax planning
  • Perform diversified accounting, auditing and tax assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager or partner
  • Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality and application of professional and firm standards
  • Know, understand and abide by the firm’s policies and procedures
  • Meet time constraints and client deadlines
  • Possess technical knowledge sufficient to assist staff associates
  • Guide tax staff and interns through completion of projects, training when necessary


  • Attained a Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university
  • Two or three years related experience and/or training
  • CPA license, licensed attorney or working toward CPA licensure
  • Must be able to communicate and function in an interdisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Supervisory Responsibilities: 
Oversee and review associates working on engagements
